Timed Run

WR_timedrun_title

Forget Parkrun, this is the Wreakie Run! The club has its own 5km / 10km timed run route. Since our move to The Hub in 2013 Jim Kett has devised this timed route for club nights, it takes place once a month in the winter and is a great marker to see progress on your own running ability. It’s an undulating route that takes in the sights of Thurmaston!

As of Oct 2016 there have been 15 timed runs, ran by over 90 people.

The 5km course record: Matt Franklin 18:39 (Nov 2015)

The 10km course record: Anne Holyland 38:35 (Nov 2015)
