Wreake Runners are based in Syston in the heart of the Wreake Valley from where its name derives. Established in September 1981 we have over the years become one of the most proactive clubs in the county. Boasting over 100 adult members of all abilities and with a thriving junior section which has almost the same number, we offer opportunities and support for both established and beginner runners. Whether you want competition locally, at midlands or national level or are just looking for a club where you can make friends and run with like minded individuals we will offer a warm welcome.
Our adult runners are now based at Roundhill Academy Thurmaston. Training nights are at 6:45pm Tuesday and Thursday for the adult members and go ahead come rain or shine. The Juniors (Age 7 upwards) train throughout the year on Saturday mornings on the track at the front of Wreake Academy Syston. When the light nights arrive in the summer we also have a mid-week session.
