Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Handicap Run. There were staggered starts (slowest first, fastest last), everyone finishing within 5 minutes of one another. All had the reward of cakes, crisps, (and fruit) afterwards. We had a great turn out with 23 runners, congratulations to the 1st place male Alistair Howard

A huge well done to everyone who braved the rain last night at the Watermead Challenge, Superb running from everyone who took part in the 5 mile race around the lakes, even to those who pushed themselves to complete the 3 mile course (Gavin Speed!).. Although he did take 8th place finishing in 18:28.. Well

So as you may know, I ended up running the Bosworth half, very hot and hilly I must say, not the best time for me but kept going,  it all makes it worth while when you finish and see the happy faces of your club, oh and get a medal too and well done to Anne Holyland
