As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows brighten the short lives of the children and young people who come to Rainbows.
Normally this annual event is held on a running track with all clubs racing against each other in relays. However this year had to be virtual.
Wreake Runners put out two teams of 20 runners each, and helped towards the total money raised of over £1500 (click here to donate). Our Team 1 finished 3rd whoop, whoop, whoop – we have a trophy! 🏆With a time of 2.48.16 behind Wigston in 1st place with 2.42.20 and Wreake & Soar Valley in 2nd with 2.46.13. Team 2 came 11th with 3.45.46 – 12 minutes ahead of Beaumont in 12th and 21 minutes ahead of Desford B in 13th.
